Due to the impact of the Coronavirus COVID-19, and with the guidance of public health experts, the Founding Partners determined cancellation was the most responsible measure to take in protecting the health of everyone involved in this national endeavor, which includes tens of thousands of participants, their families and all those essential to staging hundreds of qualifying events across all 50 states.
Registration for next year’s qualifying season (2021-2022) is expected to open early 2021. Future updates will be shared on drivechipandputt.com and the DCP social media channels.
Due to scheduling logistics, each qualifying season will include varied dates and venues. Next year’s qualifying schedule is expected to be released early 2021.
Age divisions will remain the same for the 2021-2022 qualifying season. Eligibility and age division for each participant will be dependent upon his or her age as of the 2022 Drive, Chip and Putt National Finals (Sunday April 3, 2022).
Drive, Chip and Putt is open to participants ages 7-15. Eligibility and age division for each participant is dependent upon his or her age as of the 2022 Drive, Chip and Putt National Finals (Sunday April 3, 2022). If your child will be 16 years old as of April 3, 2022, he or she will unfortunately not be eligible to participate.
This year’s Drive, Chip and Putt National Finals has been rescheduled for April 4, 2021, the eve of the Masters Tournament. Each National Finalist will be invited to compete at Augusta National Golf Club in the same age division for which he or she previously qualified in 2020, regardless of their age on that date.
No further action is required by those who were registered for a local qualifier this year.

Anyone wishing to purchase tickets for the 2021 Drive, Chip and Putt National Finals must complete a 2021 ticket application during the application window, which is expected to take place in June 2020.
Refunds will be issued to all patrons who purchased tickets from Augusta National Golf Club for this year’s National Finals. These refunds are expected to be processed in May. Patrons receiving refunds will be given the opportunity to purchase the same tickets for the Drive, Chip and Putt National Finals next year. In order to do so, a patron must complete a 2021 ticket application at drivechipandputt.com during the application window, which is expected to take place in June 2020. General Frequently Asked Questions
There is no entry fee for any qualifying levels of Drive, Chip and Putt.
Entry applications must be received no later than 4 p.m. EDT on the date five (5) days prior to the local qualifier.

You may not submit more than one application for any individual to participate in Drive, Chip and Putt. If more than one application is submitted for a participant, all applications will be rejected.
The age bracket is based upon the participant age as of the date of the national finals (Sunday, April 3, 2022). Boys and girls will compete in separate divisions in four age categories: 7-9 years old; 10-11 years old; 12-13 years old; and 14-15 years old.
The parent/guardian should login to his or her account at www.drivechipandputt.com. The path for qualifying is pre-determined based on math, which is done to maintain equal numbers of participants in the subregional and regional stages. Thus, your youth would have to participate in the corresponding pre-assigned subregional and regional events should he/she advance. If you want your youth to attend an alternate subregional qualifier, you would need to select a local qualifying site accordingly before participating. Scheduling information and tee times are provided closer to the date of the qualifier (usually three to five days in advance). Caddies are not permitted at any of the qualifying stages. Only the participants will be allowed on the fields of play.
Participants may choose to use their own golf balls. Please note, the golf balls can only be retrieved on the Chip and Putt skills. If a participant chooses to use his/her own golf balls on the Drive skill, the balls cannot be retrieved.
The host site may have equipment and golf balls available for kids of all ages. It is recommended that you contact the facility prior to the qualifier to ensure availability.
