HOW DID YOU BECOME INTERESTED IN GOLF?
When I was younger my dad would often go out to the driving range and one day brought me with him. I remember I was about 4 years old and had 3 club golf set, a putter, 7 iron and my driver. After that I just kept coming with him and it turned out that I really enjoyed the game and have been playing since then.
WHO INTRODUCED YOU TO GOLF?
My dad
WHO DO YOU NORMALLY PLAY GOLF WITH?
Friends or my dad.
WHO IS YOUR GOLF INSTRUCTOR?
Steve Holmes - Rustic Canyon Golf Course
WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT PLAYING GOLF?
I enjoy being able to play new and amazing courses and to meet such amazing friends along the way. This sport can be very competitive at some points but it is also very good at bringing people together and to just have fun. I also find it satisfying to listen when the golf ball drops into the hole.
WHAT’S THE MOST DIFFICULT THING ABOUT GOLF?
The most difficult thing about golf for me is being able to control what goes on inside my head. I feel this sport is not only physically demanding but also mentally demanding. To be able to control your nerves and not let them get the best of you can be very hard as well, and to not let one shot ruin the rest of your round.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE GOLF CLUB?
My 7 iron.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE GOLF COURSE IN THE WORLD?
Augusta National Golf Club
WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST ACHIEVEMENT IN GOLF SO FAR?
Coming to the DCP National Finals.
HAVE YOU EVER PARTICIPATED IN A USGA OR PGA OF AMERICA EVENT? IF SO, WHICH ONE(S), WHEN, AND HOW DID YOU DO?
I competed in a USGA four ball event with my friend. I didn’t play my best at that tournament and wasn’t able to move onto the next round.
WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO OTHER JUNIORS PARTICIPATING IN DCP WHO ARE TRYING TO REACH THE NATIONAL FINALS?
I would say to enjoy the moment, and to trust in your ability to do well. Even if you may not do your best that day, there is a reason you are there, and you just have to trust in yourself. You also have next year to try it again.
DO YOU PARTICIPATE IN FIRST TEE?
I did when I was first starting to golf.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT PARTICIPATING IN DRIVE, CHIP AND PUTT?
Being able to have something most people can only dream about going to and allowing every junior golfer the chance to go there.

Making my 30-foot putt to go to the National Finals.
