I started golf when I was five years old when my Mom took me to lessons because soccer was closed because of the COVID shutdown. I enjoyed it very much because I get to spend time outdoors and I meet new friends!

The most difficult thing about golf is keeping the ball in position at all times and trying to focus on all 18 holes during a tournament.

Keep practicing everyday!

I used to participate when I was 5-7 years old.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT PARTICIPATING IN DRIVE, CHIP AND PUTT?
My favorite is the chance to be able to compete with other players my age.

My chip ins for Local and Subregional. I also love that I got to travel to Kailua-Kona for the Regional Qualifier.

I tried to qualify when I was 7 years old in 2022. I didn't make it past the local qualifier but I got 3rd in putting skills.
DID YOU WATCH LAST YEAR’S DRIVE, CHIP AND PUTT NATIONAL FINALS ON TELEVISION? IF SO, WHAT IMPACT DID THAT HAVE ON YOUR PARTICIPATION THIS YEAR?
It was cool to watch my friends, Trisha Lobo, Victoria Kim and Ellie Ji compete on natnional television. It was fun to watch them so I told myself that I should try and qualify next year.

My favorite is Jason Day because he is the nicest golfer I've ever met and he is also good in golf!

I am very strong! I do strength and conditioning and I can do 12 pistol squats!
DESCRIBE ANY OBSTACLES YOU’VE OVERCOME IN YOUR LIFE:
When I was 7 years old in 2022, I placed T37th out of 47 girls in US Kids Golf World in Pinehurst. It made me feel very sad, I cried and was disappointed with myself. I came home to Las Vegas and started practicing more everyday so that I don't have to feel disappointed again. I came back the next year to place T2nd out of 91 girls (8 division) in Pinehurst and that same year, I also won the FCG Callaway Junior World to score 13 under par in 3 days for 27 holes.
HERO / ROLE MODEL(S):
Lydia Ko is my role model because she is very successful in the LPGA.
WHAT’S THE BEST PIECE OF ADVICE YOU’VE EVER RECEIVED?
My coach always tells me, "Keep the ball in position!"
