WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT PLAYING GOLF?
The golf ball doesn’t care who you are, or where you where born. The golf ball doesn’t care how much money you may have or  about what your father and grandfather did for a job.  The golf ball doesn’t care about the color of your skin, or how tall, skinny, heavy or popular you are. The golf ball doesn’t care about what school you go to.  The golf ball only cares about one thing - and - only one thing: how you swing the club! That’s what I love about golf - it’s just about you and the golf ball.

And I told him that my grandfather told me that Jack Nicholas was better golfer than YOU! He laughed so hard and told me to tell my grandfather the he best Jack Nicholas as many times as Jack best him. Then Gary Player hit golf balls with me for about an hour. DESCRIBE YOURSELF:
My "golf-journey” speaks greatly  to the inclusiveness of golf and why it’s truly a great sport! I am an American Citizen, who was born in Ethiopia, and resides (most of the year) in Abu Dhabi, UAE.   (That’s 3 continents!) I was adopted shortly after I was born. At 4 years old, I took to golf like a fish to water (an interesting fact as neither of of my parents can be considered “golfers”).  I practice golf hard and play even harder. My current official USGA/R+A  handicap is 2.7 (two-point-seven).  Whenever I compete in a golf event, most often, I’m the only “brown” girl in the field. That said, most golfers everywhere we go welcome and accept me, without issue.  One of the things I most like about golf is that the golf ball doesn’t care who you are, or where you where born.
