I finished 2nd at the 2022 U.S. Kids Golf Teen World Championship.
WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO OTHER JUNIORS PARTICIPATING IN DCP WHO ARE TRYING TO REACH THE NATIONAL FINALS?
Never give up, because after finishing 2nd twice at DCP regionals, it hurt, but if felt even better when I finally made it.

I volunteer with it.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT PARTICIPATING IN DRIVE, CHIP AND PUTT?
I like how it challenges every skill equally, and it puts pressure on each shot, because you only get 3 drives, 3 chips, and 3 putts.
MEMORABLE MOMENTS FROM YOUR LOCAL, SUBREGIONAL OR REGIONAL QUALIFIERS:
I chipped my first chip in at sub regionals. This was my 3rd time qualifying for regionals, and the past two times I finished 2nd, so walking off the green after finishing putting knowing that I was going to Augusta National was the best!

This has been a dream of mine for many years. Watching my friends compete last year on TV helped me realize I could make it there!

I went to the 2022 U.S. Women's Open at Pine Needles, and it was so cool to watch them play especially since I would be competing there at the end of July at the U.S. Kids Golf Teen World Championship.

WHO IS YOUR FAVORITE MALE GOLFER, AND WHY?
Bobby Jones, because he was the first and only golfer to win the Grand Slam. He played as an amateur even though he could've made tons of money playing as a pro. He knew once he turned pro his love for the game would not be the same.

Brooke Henderson, because she is always smiling and keeping a good attitude.

Tony Finau, because he is friendly with everyone and participates in events for kids.

I didn't play with him, but Marc Leishman played in a parent/child tournament that I played in with my mom, so I got to watch him tee off on the first hole.

Last February, my dad was diagnosed with stage 4b oral cancer. He went through 7 weeks of chemotherapy and radiation and a ten hour surgery to remove half of his tongue and lymph nodes in his neck.
HERO / ROLE MODEL(S):
My role model is Nelly Korda, because she is one of the best female golfers in the world, and I want to be as good as she is one day.
