Every course is unique, so you are always challenged a different way.
WHAT PART OF GOLF DO YOU LIKE TO PRACTICE THE MOST?
I practice my short game in my house, my dad has a chipping area set up and we have a snap putting mat. This way I can practice in the middle of the Texas summer in air conditioning!
WHAT’S THE MOST DIFFICULT THING ABOUT GOLF?
I’m learning that golf is not a game of perfection and I need to give myself grace when I hit a bad shot. Also being good or bad at golf does not define me as a person, it’s just a game that I love and I love working to become a better player every time I practice :)
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE CLUB?
“Hot Sauce” My putter
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE GOLF COURSE IN THE WORLD?
Augusta National
WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST ACHIEVEMENT IN GOLF SO FAR?
I have won some important tournaments, but qualifying for DCP National Finals in Augusta is a dream come true. I watch the Masters every year with my dad and we’ve both imagined what it would be like to hit a putt on 18 at Augusta. I cant believe it’s actually going to happen now. I’ll never forget this experience.
HAVE YOU EVER PARTICIPATED IN A USGA OR PGA OF AMERICA EVENT? IF SO, WHICH ONE(S), WHEN, AND HOW DID YOU DO?
Not yet. I hope to try to qualify for a US Women's Amateur some day.
WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO OTHER JUNIORS PARTICIPATING IN DCP WHO ARE TRYING TO REACH THE NATIONAL FINALS
Believe in yourself and have fun!! Like my socks say “Don’t worry Pea Happy!”
DO YOU PARTICIPATE IN FIRST TEE?
My instructor Mark Klement is an instructor at the First Tee, and I do my best to try to volunteer to help the younger golfers when i’m not playing tournaments. I love seeing the little ones find their love for the game.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT PARTICIPATING IN DRIVE, CHIP AND PUTT?
I love that DCP gives everyone an equal chance to compete for the ultimate prize. This event is a once in a lifetime opportunity open to people from every walk of life. It makes me happy to think I’m a little part of growing the game of golf. :)
MEMORABLE MOMENTS FROM YOUR LOCAL, SUBREGIONAL OR REGIONAL QUALIFIERS:
When I heard that Audrey McIntyre had punched her ticket to Augusta, I couldn’t stop smiling. Suddenly all the hard work I had done flashed before my eyes and I knew it was all worth it. I thought about the people that have supported me in my life like my dad and grandpa and I knew I made them proud. :)

DID YOU WATCH LAST YEAR’S DRIVE, CHIP AND PUTT NATIONAL FINALS ON TELEVISION? IF SO, WHAT IMPACT DID THAT HAVE ON YOUR PARTICIPATION THIS YEAR?

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE MEMORY WATCHING GOLF ON TV?
Watching Justin Thomas win the PGA was so cool. My dad and I went on Sunday, but we had to leave early, so we watched on the way home. When we saw JT he was on 10 and it didn’t look like he could win. It was inspiring to me because it taught me to never give up, because you never know what could happen next!
