DID YOU WATCH LAST YEAR’S DRIVE, CHIP AND PUTT NATIONAL FINALS ON TELEVISION? IF SO, WHAT IMPACT DID THAT HAVE ON YOUR PARTICIPATION THIS YEAR?
Yes; this year was my last chance to compete in DCP, so I had to give it one more shot. Every year my mom would say, "it wasn't meant this year." After my first time competing in it, she said when you make it out of the first round you will go all the way. So this year, when I finally made it out of the local qualifier, I started to envision that just maybe this will be my year.

Realizing that attitude is everything. I am a work in progress and some days are better than others, but each day I try to be a better version of myself. I try to focus more on the process and less on the outcomes. I also try to be patient and be more in the moment on the course. I strive to play the course one shot at a time and accept the things that are out of my control. I have noticed that when I can create this mindset, I always finish a round strong even when the start is a train wreck.

A great man named JL Smith told me when I first started playing golf, "No matter what, don't stop loving the game."
WHAT DO YOU WANT TO BE WHEN YOUR GROW UP?
I am a laid back small town guy that strives to be the best version of “me” daily. I love Jesus Christ and my family, and I have a true passion for the game of golf. I am known for my natural athletic abilities, and my competitive side is what drives me. One thing I admire about myself is that I love a challenge and can grind when my back is against the wall.
