The Path to the National Finals
Qualifying Path
Should a player advance through local qualifying, the subregional and regional qualifying sites are pre-determined based upon the local qualifying site. The player is not guaranteed participation in the subregional qualifier unless he/she advances through local qualifying. The player is not guaranteed participation in the regional qualifier unless he/she advances through local and subregional qualifying.

How did you become interested in golf?
My brother played and I spent a lot of time watching and I enjoyed watching and wanted to learn how to play.
Who introduced you to golf?
My Dad introduced me to golf.
Who do you normally play golf with?
I usually play with my brother Brayden.
Who is your golf teacher?
Dave Smallwood is my coach.
What do you like most about playing golf?
I like the feeling when I hit good shots and I like winning trophies.
What part of golf do you like to practice the most?
I like practicing driving and hitting the ball far.
What’s the most difficult thing about golf?
Being consistent and hitting the shot when I need to.
What is your favorite club?
7-iron.
What is your favorite course in the world?
Galt Country Club because it has some really pretty holes along the water.
What is your biggest achievement in golf so far?
Qualifying to go to Augusta National for the Drive, Chip and Putt finals.
Have you ever participated in a USGA or PGA of America event? If so, which one(s), when, and how did you do?
US Kids Golf Foundation: 2017 & 2018 Canadian Invitational Champion, 2018 Pennsylvania State Invitational Champion, 2019 World Championships 7th
Local Qualifying Site/Results/Any Memorable Moments:
We didn’t arrive to the course until 15 minutes before the event started and I went from the car righ to the driving competition.
Sub-Regional Qualifying Site/Results/Any Memorable Moments:
When we arrived I learned that I forgot to bring my golf shoes and only had flip flops. My mom had to buy me shoes from the golf shop in order for me to participate.

When I finished putting and realized that I was in the lead, I was very excited!
Have you tried to qualify for Drive, Chip and Putt in the past? If so, please list each of the years and previous results:
Yes – in 2018 I finished 2nd in the Local and 3rd in the Sub-Regional qualifiers.
Did you watch last year’s Drive, Chip and Putt National Finals on television? If so, what impact did that have on your participation this year?
Yes- it was exciting to see someone I knew participate and win the DC&P at Augusta (Vanessa Borovilos) and I wanted that to be me some day.

When Tiger Woods won in 2019, it was very exciting and I liked watching him with his kids after the final round.
Who is your favorite male golfer, and why?
Tiger Woods because he is exciting to watch play.
Who is your favorite female golfer, and why?
Brooke Henderson because she is Canadian and she is a very good golfer who has won a lot of tournaments on the LPGA. I look up to her and want to be like her one day.
Who is the coolest player in golf, and why?
Ian Poulter

If I am playing well with a ball, I will play with it no matter what it looks like until I lose it.
